Recommendations on nail varnish?

I am going to buy some pretty sandals so I am going to paint my toe nails. I want good quality and sweet-looking colour. Can anyone recommend brands? I'm also interested in what your favourite colours are too, what you would recommend to me :)

i must admit, i paint my nails black - but in no way am i 'gothic' or anything


i vary from black, navy blue and grey (all from the brand barry m)


i wear pretty sandals and i find the colours make you look quite mature and edgy as you're toughning up your existing look


sometimes, i wear a very deep purply red too from boots No7

I love Barry M. Such a huge range of colours and at an affordable price too. They last ages so the price doesn't reflect the quality. I have every colour under the rainbow, but my fave has to be silver. I wear it all the time. I wouldn't wear anything else.

I like anything that is bright on my toes, right now I have a hot pink colour on my nails.

Barr m , maybelline or rimmel, and right now on my toes i have got a nice peach colour on,which looks very summery :),but also i paint the tips white sometimes and put on 2+ coats of clear nail varnish on top x
