Nail varnish in carpet?

how do get purple varnish out of beige carpetNail varnish in carpet?
Lots and lots of nailvarnish remover + kitchen roll to soak up the excess liquid.

In supermarkets you can get Staindevils Nailvarnish remover solution (it's on the same aisle as the washing powder).

If all fails paint it over with beige nail varnish!Nail varnish in carpet?
nail varnish remover (with acetone)

then 'vanish' carpet cream should do the trick to finish itoff and make it look normal again
Over 18 ? Petrol. Try nail polish remover first, but you may need something stronger.
VANISH!
Paint thinner and a q-tip. Do not ';scrub'; it because you want to limit the number of stained carpet fibers. Use a q-tip to apply the paint thinner and a paper towel to pull it off the fibers.

I have tried this method and it works without stripping the color out of the rug.
carefully! if it is alot, you need to leave it to dry and pick off what you can with a sharp object, otherwise if its literally a drop- like smaller then a grain of rice, then dip a cotten bud in nail polish remover BUT MAKE SURE ITS ACETONE FREE! most chemists sell acetone free nail polish as some people are allergec to it, but its not in every chemist so you really have to scan for the bottle, I know cutex do one and I think clarins or clinique or one of the mega brands also do. and literally dab it off, it may take several cotten buds and you may need to wait for it to dry inbetween as it can spread if the area is too wet, but it should come off, though there may be some stain that just wont shift, it will look much better.

Alternativly call the yellow pages people and ask them to fix it, v.expensive this way though.
send to dry clean
You should try nail varnish remover as it contains acetone in it and acetone is great for cleaning. If that doesnt work im sure normal carpet cleaner should do the trick.
