try acetone but test it on a unseen corner of the carpet in case it discolours the wool
The chap who lived in my flat before was a transvestite and the bedroom carpets are covered in nail polish. I've been using white spirit to remove it. It works.
you shouldn't be using nail varnish if you are a bloke
would it not come off with nail varnish remover ?
