Make sure your nails are free of oils before you start. You may want to wipe them with a smidge of varnish remover to start.
Use a clear basecoat to prevent staining, then apply two coats of color, and finally, use a clear topcoat to prevent chipping. Make sure each layer of varnish is really thin; this not only speeds up drying time, but it also helps the polish go on smoother and last longer. Make sure each layer is completely dry before moving onto the next layer.
Paint all of your fingers except for the thumbs; do those last. This is to help because once thumbs are painted, it usually gets quite cumbersome to paint the rest.
To speed dry polish, dip them in a bowl filled with ice cold water for as long as you can. This speed sets the polish.Does anyone have any tips for applying nail varnish?
use a buffer (you can get a four way one from the Body Shop for 拢3) and use it on your nails, to file, smooth, buff and shine the nail. Then get your nail varnish colour and apply one coat. After wait until its dry and apply another. Repeat this once more and your nails will be smooth with colour. Get a cotton bud and dip it in nail varnish remover, and go around the cuticles of your nails removing excess nail varnish. Once your nails are dry, get some clear cover nail varnish and do two coats with that. xDoes anyone have any tips for applying nail varnish?
Just put it on normally , you could do multi coloured or with polka dots , or stripes or put fancy stickers on it!

Hey,
Push down your cuticles before painting your nails. Use a cream or warm water to soften them. Use 2 coats of nail varnish and allow both to dry thoroughly. Don't bite your nails.
Hope I've helped!
One large stroke in down the middle of the nail then the right edge and the left
- keep the bottle in the fridge for 5 mins before use
- do the middle stroke first, then the right and left
