Can you get matt clear nail varnish?

Is it possible to get matt clear nail varnish, rather than gloss?





The ends of my boyfriend's nails keep splitting, and he's after something to hold them together, but doesn't want them to be shiny (I can't think why!). I don't think I've ever seen matt nail varnish, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.





I'd appreciate sources in the UK if possible.

You could always buy it online....I would recommend OPI's Nail Envy in the Matte finish. It's a bit expensive, but truly worth it. Check ebay or Amazon or drugstore.comCan you get matt clear nail varnish?
You can go and check it out on Ebay. They have a very inexpensive nail strenghthener/hardner for men. It is by OPI Nail Envy. This stuff is very good.
I second the vote for the Nail Envy in Matte - great for guys with peeling nails.
If he goes to a pharmacy they are sure to have something that will fix the problem.
Well, maybe he could start eating more calcium and gelatin. this strengthes nails. But you can buff the nails really good first and then put on strengthining polish. it wont be too shiny.
Orly makes a nail polish line just for guys. I think it's called Nail for Male. They have a bunch of matte finishes and natural colors designed for guys.
Some companies market this type of varnish to males, but you can still use it.
